Well, this is my first entry in this journal so bear with me, please...

I'm still relatively new to this community, and struggling to figure out how everything works around here, but slooowly I'm working up the courage to comment on other peoples wonderful work and make myself a bit more visible. Just need to brush up on my English skills so I won't embarrass myself too much.
And I reeeally need an avatar! I have no idea about how to make one of those though!

For now I'm here for the yaoi fics and the wonderful fanart, but eventually I hope to gather enough courage to submit some writings of my own. There's soooo much wonderful inspiration and talent around this place, and I'm really intimidated by that - but in a GOOD way!!

I'm probably far too old to be fangirling the way I am at this point, but I really don't care. Life's what you make it, right?

And let me then continue by saying that I have actually never played any of the games I fave. I'm not really a game wiz, but I've read sooo much, walkthroughs and all kinds of additional info, fanwritings, discussions and debates, watched sooooooo many cutscenes and FMV's and in general lurked about for so long, that I think I can honestly say I have a pretty good grasp on things anyways.

My all time favourite fandom is Final Fantasy VII, with Crisis Core and Advent Children as the main focus points, but all FF VII will do just fine!

But I'm also into Final Fantasy VIII and of course the Kingdom Hearts Series.

Occasionally I let myself indulge in Naruto as well, as I have a weak spot for Uchiha Sasuke, but not that often as I usually like Final Fantasy more.

My favorite characters always will be Cloud Strife, Zack Fair, Genesis Rhapsodos and Leon/Squall Leonhart, but of course, who can ignore
Reno, Angeal, Sephiroth, Kadaj, Organisation XIII, Riku and all the other intriguing characters from around the neighbourhood???

I'm not too picky about pairings (although I have my favorites...), but my emphasis is ENTIRELY on yaoi! Yeah, I'm a yaoi-whore, and I really don't have the patience for yuri or (mostly) het. Sorry guys, but that's just not my thing. Yaoi rocks my boat.

Another passion of mine is the dark and angsty themes - Oooh, VERY dark and VERY angsty is just BETTER! Zack and Cloud are just made to bleed (not necessarily literally, mind you!), and I've come across a few writers here that are SOOOO AWESOME at making them suffer!!!! Oh, poor boys... Gotta love it! I just realised recently that I'm a bit of an angstwhore I guess... *cough*
And of course the smut.... Well, we can't have yaoi without occasional smut, ne? Oh well, I guess I'm just a pervert...... *cough again*

Anything else? Hmm, I live in Denmark and yaoi-wise that SUCKS. It's practically non-existent. So I constantly thank the Gods for the internet!!!!
